ND VS MD

Today I went  to see my ND Dr. Koperski.  This is the third time I visited her office.  I was really sick when I went the first time and I did not even trust her.  I went to her for some prescription initially and had no intention to see her again.  However she gently acknowledged my concerns and agreed with me to whatever she could.  Somehow she won my trust and I decided I would not just ask for a one-time prescription, but I will follow up with her. By the second time I went to see her, I had already made drastic improvement and she was very thrilled about my progress.  I remembered she took notes so fast that I felt that she was using a computer.  During the hour she spent 80% of her time writing down what I was doing.   Today again, she carefully asked me questions and wrote down the details of my diet and read my supplement list.  Every question she asked not only made sense but she also gave me good advice at the same time.  This is a completely different experience relative to most MDs I ever went to see.  Most MDs would tell you what to do instead of listening to what you have to say, as if they have all the solutions to every medical issue.  By the time you have told them that nothing was working, they would question you and say that you did not do the right thing.  Or else they might load you up with more drugs as if there must be a magic drug that could solve your problem, or lastly, they might refer you to another specialist. And a whole new cycle would begin again. When nothing worked finally, they would judge you and gave you all kinds of labels, and tell you your condition is “incurable” and that you need to take drugs the rest of your life. I am not defiant,  not from the beginning and not now either.  All I know is that I can not remain disabled until the end of my life, and since I was not disabled once upon a time, then there must be a solution to my current condition.  I don’t need any judges or labels, but a real solution to a real medical condition…  Well, NDs may not  provide all the solutions either, but in general they will listen to your concerns, and try very hard to use natural solutions which won’t cause harm to your body.  So my conclusion is: NDs may help to find a cure for you or may not, and that is not going to weaken your body; VS MDs may also help to find a cure for you or may not, but for sure in either way it will weaken your immune system.  Of course, in many or most medical situations an MD must be involved, but for chronic illness I myself and many other people have experienced, the best way to heal is to learn our own body, to learn ways to sustain our immune system, and to learn to be our own doctor given current circumstances, and finally have an ND to work alone with us so she/he will uncover any unforeseen issues.

Today Dr. Koperski wrote down a recipe that I made up myself, and that I have been using since the start of my journey, and which is very effective for healing:

Jun’s everyday milkshake ingredients:

Raw milk (may be replaced with goat milk or coconut milk for sensitive people), egg yolk, avocado, colostrum, Lakanto Monkfruit (as sweetener) – So delicious! Even my kids love it every morning🙂🙃.

Alternative: use cocoa power to replace avocado – a cocoa drink!!! And this recipe will satisfy your sweet tooth without causing you any troubles.  😜😊

Journey to heath does not have to be tough and painful. I am certainly enjoying it now.
