My fifth week at SWI

Dec,16, 2016 Friday. My 5th Week at SWI

first day second month

first day of the second month at SWI

The highlight of this week is that I had the chance to discuss my PET scan with Dr. Sponaugle, and I learned about other aspects of my illness. The overall impression of my case is that I responded to the treatment very well so I can afford to make further progress faster than normal. Next week I will take antibiotics to kill an infection in my brain. Given my circumstance, I was offered the alternatives of either using antibiotics or having just all natural IVs. Dr. Sponaugle highly recommends the use of antibiotics in my case, and Gary said the same thing. I would not be convinced to use antibiotics if Mary Landsey did not tell me that SWI uses antibiotics “the right way”. Many Landsey lost her voice after using antibiotics the “wrong way” (before she came to SWI), but Dr. Sponaugle fixed her completely. Given her circumstance, antibiotics was her only choice. I decided to give it a try.

Now I have more hope for my full recovery and my future. My perspective has been changed so much compared to that before I arrived. Dr. Sponaugle is a genius, and he has a brilliant mind. I was very impressed when he told me that he felt better now at age 60 than when he was 25. He only sleeps 3-4 hours every day. Indeed, he takes care of sick patients until late at night. It makes me see so this clinic in a total different way. But once again, I am here to heal, not to expect the best service or try to change anything.  Next week it will be my “kill” week. Let’s see how my body sustains the antibiotics.

Merry Christmas to all my love ones and to the whole world!
